Ninth Day of Lost-Mas: Say What?!
Happy 2010, everyone!

To celebrate the joyous year of what is shaping up to be a mind-blowing final season of Lost, we continue our 12 Days of Lost-mas with a fun little guessing game that can be very revealing, if you play it right...

According to sources, all of these things will be said in the first six hours of Lost's new season (starting Feb. 2), and they are pivotal to the plot:

"Am I alive?"
"It turned out she did not want out."
"I wanted you to be able to go home."
"I was killed by an *** ******."
"I was supposed to die."
Who says what? And why?

I'll give you a clue. The first one is not a female, and is the same person as #5.

Hmmm....

Get the answers when the new season starts Feb. 2, and post your theories below!

Eighth Day of Lost-Mas: Look Who's Talking!
Is anyone ever really dead on Lost?

This has been the money Q since season one, and in case you didn't hear, there are quite a few "dead" former castmembers who will reappear for the highly anticipated final season: Dominic Monaghan, Rebecca Mader and Ian Somerhalder, just to name a few.

But here's something you don't know: A dead character also may "return" without us actually seeing the actor who plays him or her!

How?
Via the man with the Sixth Sense!

No, not Bruce Willis...

According to insiders, Miles (Ken Leung)—who, remember, gets messages from the dead and not full-on visions/visits à la Hurley (Jorge Garcia)—may carry a message from a dead character on Lost in the upcoming season.

So who is it?

I can't say who—sorry, too spoilery—but I can tell you that this dead person's message is important.

Got guesses?

The comments are yours for the taking!

Seventh Day of Lost-Mas: Who Are the Other "Others"?

In case you haven't figured it out yet from our 12 Days of Lost-mas so far, the final season of Lost is shaping up to be fan-freaking-tastic.

According to my spies, there will be at least a few answers very early on to the questions we fans have been asking. And one such Q involves the woman you see above—Ilana (Zuleikha Robinson), who was promoted to series regular this year—and those other Others who crashed on the island from Ajira Flight 316...

Who are they? Why are they on the island? And what is their mission?

Here's what I can tell you...

One of the following things is true regarding Ilana and her Ajira posse:

They were sent by Charles Widmore to kill Ben.
They were sent by the Man in Black (Jacob's nemesis) to find the island's time travel mechanism and destroy it.
They were sent to protect Jacob.
They were sent to revive John Locke.
Ilana is future Sayid in drag.

Sixth Day of Lost-Mas: This Scoop Is a Matter of Life and Death

We already know John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) is dead—and we are über-pissed at Ben Linus (Michael Emerson) for doing the deed—but could another Lostie be joining Locke very soon in the myserious island show's ever-growing body count?

When Lost returns Feb. 2 to ABC, there are more than a few stomach-churning surprises in store, and our latest dish (as part of the 12 Days of Lost-mas) involves the life-or-death fates of two Losties we love.

Word of warning: This is the final season. So anyone can be killed off.

Read on for the dish...
According to my spies, the following statements are both true:
1. One Lostie we've known for a long time (a dark, handsome and mysterious someone) will die within the first four hours in the first shocking death of the year.
2. Another Lostie we've known and loved since day one of season one will come this close to dying—at his own hands—but the good doctor (Matthew Fox's Jack Shephard) will save him.

Who will die? Who will nearly take his own life?

Paradise Lost, tv guide interview with Josh Holloway

He’s been shot, repeatedly beaten to bloody hell, circled by a hungry shark, chased by a Smoke Monster, electrocuted and locked in a polar-bear cage with only decades-old fish biscuits for sustenance. But James “Sawyer” Ford’s greatest adversary has long been Josh Holloway, who decreed early on that his wily hillbilly deserved to die as karmic penance for years spent conning the innocent.

But with just four months left of filming on the final season of Lost, the 40-year-old actor has had a change of heart. He’s lobbying for a stay of execution. “After six years, I love this character—he’s a living, breathing part of me,” says Holloway. “And I think he deserves a second chance to rectify some things he’s done. It would be a shame if he were not given that opportunity. I’d feel cheated.”

This newfound compassion sprang to life sometime between the shooting of last season’s explosive finale, in which Sawyer failed to save his sweetheart, Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell), and the first few episodes of the coming season, which finds Sawyer wrestling with deep guilt.

Still, whatever fate the island gods (aka exec producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse) bestow on Sawyer, come May 2010, Holloway will be ready to slip out of those soiled denims, cut off that long hair and move back to Los Angeles to pursue film roles. “By then, Sawyer’s story will have been told,” says Holloway. “My journey has been full.”

Strolling past a beach not far from his home in Oahu, Holloway says he’s not alone in his feelings of satisfaction and gratitude. With the groundbreaking series’ end nearing, he’s noticed the cast rediscovering a profound appreciation for the show and one another. “It’s just been a pleasure on set this year,” he says. “When we see each other, there’s this joy that’s lovely.”

“It feels like high school’s going to end, and we’re getting wistful,” agrees costar Terry O’Quinn (Locke). “There’s a sweetness to these days.”

“Everyone has a sense of last moments,” echoes Michael Emerson (Ben). “Maybe this will be the last scene we shoot at this old location…or maybe this is the last time I’ll talk to this particular character.”

But it hasn’t always been like this. Holloway concedes that as the seasons wore on, dips in camaraderie could be seen as actors buried their heads in both iPhones and feature-film scripts. Now there’s “silly conversations” with Emerson, Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Ken Leung (Miles), impromptu jazz sessions with O’Quinn, Daniel Dae Kim (Jin) and Naveen Andrews (Sayid). And Yunjin Kim (Sun) says she, Jeff Fahey (Lapidus) and Leung have even taken Pilates classes together, “as an excuse to hang out off set.”

“There is an energy here now that is reminiscent of the first year, which was so magical,” says Holloway.

Back then, Holloway never could’ve envisioned the bizarre turns the trippy series would take, including time travel, conversations with the undead and the discovery of an ominous giant four-toed statue. Yet he acknowledges the roller-coaster plot brought out some of Sawyer’s finest moments. His favorite: when Sawyer and Kate (Evangeline Lilly) were imprisoned face-to-face in the Others’ cages in Season 3. His least: Sawyer’s recurring con of sleeping with women, taking their cash and skipping town. “It didn’t feel real, and I always felt stupid doing it,” he says.

More recently, he objected to his character’s content life with Juliet, which turned Sawyer into somewhat of a softie. “I rejected it when I first got the scripts. I was like, ‘C’mon, he’s a nice guy now? Head of security? What bulls--t.’ It was scary for me. I didn’t want to lose his edge.”

Holloway needn’t worry. Come February, he—and fans—can expect a reemergence of the sorely missed badass Sawyer. But not before tying up the Juliet story line. Mitchell, who’s moved on to star in V, recently returned to Hawaii to shoot some top-secret scenes.

“It was pretty poignant and important to the setup of things people will discover later on,” says Holloway. “We had this amazing experience, and then she was gone again.”

Similar reunions were recently enjoyed with other long-gone costars. Ian Somerhalder (Boone), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) and Rebecca Mader (Charlotte) have all returned to film a few scenes. And Emilie de Ravin’s Claire will be back full-time this season.

But the reunion many fans are dying to see is Sawyer and Kate. In last season’s ender, the two shared a longing glance, witnessed by an intuitive (and heartbroken) Juliet, who realized there’s still major chemistry brewing. Still, in the aftermath of Juliet’s demise, Holloway says Sawyer’s agony makes it “not possible for him to be with Kate. Right now, he doesn’t give a f--- about life…or anyone in it. He’s destroyed inside. There’s an undeniable love for Kate, but everything inside of him is fighting not to go there.”

Holloway’s not even sure he could swallow a happily-ever-after conclusion for Sawyer and Kate, whom he describes as two lone wolves—passing ships in the night. “I think she would have a happier life with Jack,” he admits. “More so than with Sawyer.” Kim, whose Sun remains separated from husband Jin this season, disagrees: “I think Kate’s suited for Sawyer.”

At this point, Holloway can guarantee only one happy ending: his own. “It’s been an honor and a pleasure to take this journey with this group of people and with this caliber of writing,” he says. “It’s priceless what it’s done for me as an artist and a human being. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

Fifth Day of Lost-Mas: Where Is Desmond?

Our 12 Days of Lost-mas--in which we give you scoop on the upcoming and final season of Lost—continues with a goodie today on a fan favorite many of you fear may be largely MIA when the series returns Feb. 2:

Desmond, a.k.a. Henry Ian Cusick.

Assuming the rumors are true that Lost's sixth season will center around that fateful Oceanic Flight 815, which Desmond was not on, does that mean we won't see Des?

Here's what I can tell you...
1. According to sources, we will see Desmond again.
2. Fairly early on in the season.
3. His first appearance will be with one one of the Losties and the scene/encounter is very surprising.
4. You guys are going to love it! (Honestly)

That's all I can spill for now, 'cause I'm told this is one surprise you won't want to be spoiled for...Check back tomorrow for more Lost-mas dish!

Small Filming Update - 25th Dec

Thanks to Purpleflash108 from our forums for this small filming snippet.

I'd thought Id drop this little mini spoiler (set report) for the very last day of shooting this year.

Sun, Jack and Locke all together at Police Beach (Lostie Camp). Don't know much else, but struck me a bit odd with this group together at this point. also, not sure what "Locke" this is.

Fourth Day of Lost-Mas: Who Is the New Big Bad?

For a good five seasons now, Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) has been one of the most sping-tingling, blood-curling "bad guys" on television, and certainly the most creeptastic "Other" on ABC's Lost.

But that's about to change in the upcoming final season, starting Feb. 2, because there's a new Baddie on Lost who will make Ben Linus look more like the wimpy Peanuts character with whom he shares a name.

So who is this terrifying and awesome new Big Bad? What has he done and how will you see him?

As our 12 Days of Lost-mas--in which we stuff your stockings with spoilery goodies--continues, here are three true things I can tell you about the New Big Bad.

He:

* Killed **h*.
* Killed ***o*.
* Is *h* **o** *****e*.
* Wants to "g* **m*."

Again, this time, all three of these things are true. Your job is to decifer the missing letters...

Maybe Santa will bring you some for Christmas?

I took those pic when i went in a store today and for the thing in the shampoo bottle, i took photos at home but i thought evi's fans could like it :)

snippets of Josh Holloway's interview with TV GUIDE

Here fews Qs Josh answered when TV GUIDE went to see him fews weeks ago !

If you could have played any other character on Lost, who would it have been and why? —Christine
Good question! Terry O’Quinn’s character [Locke], but I don’t have the wisdom that his age naturally brings. That character’s so vulnerable and struggling off the island. But on the island, he’s such a badass. That dichotomy would be fun to play.

If you were a Lost writer, which characters would you have hooked up on the show because of the great chemistry the actors have with each other? —Chlo
Ana Lucia and Sawyer would have been a fun, volatile romance after their animalistic meeting out in the woods.

Out of all of Sawyer’s nicknames, which is your favorite? And have you ever ad-libbed any? —Robert
Stay Puff for Hurley. Mr. Clean for Locke. Slingshot Sally for Ben’s daughter, Alex. I came up with Sweet Cheeks for Shannon in the pilot. I also ad-libbed one they didn’t use. I called Ken Leung Ping-Pong when he had a grenade in his mouth!

Since playing Sawyer, have you had any nightmares about islands, being polar-bear food, bombs or time travel? —Yonomeaburro
Constantly! And I’ve had dreams of being with cast members on a boat that changes into a magic carpet.

Do you think that Sawyer will ever meet his daughter, Clementine? —Sally
Wow, I have no clue. That’s something I would like to see. Even if they don’t meet, his intention to meet her would be important to me. To see him off the island with her name and address on a piece of paper.

Please tell me you are not really going to shave off all that beautiful hair when the show is over. Are you? —D.J.
I did say I was going to shave a Mohawk in when we wrapped the last day, and I may still. Were it not for Lost, I would have changed it up by now.

Why did you let go of me and watch me fall to my death? That was not cool. I thought we had something. —Juliet
Oh, God! I prefer brunettes. Kidding! I did not let go of her. She let go of me!

Latest Spoilers From Kristin-22nd December

One of these is true, the other is false:

We find out John Locke is related to C*****s *id**re and J*** ***ph*** in a way you would never ever expect—yes, "related" as in by blood!

Terry O'Quinn does something bat-poop insane involving a character we have known since the very first episode of Lost's first season, then says: "I'm sorry you had to see me like that."
Which one is right?

Alisa: Your Lost scoop has been really good lately, and I was hoping that you could answer one question. In the "Incident," Juliet holds her stomach when talking to Bernard as if she were pregnant. Anyway Juliet could be pregnant with Sawyer's baby?

I think you're mistaking me for another site. I've been pretty mum on Lost (and let me tell you, this gag is messing up my lip gloss!), but I'm trying to make up for it a smidgen with The 12 Days of Lostmas. That said, there is no way that Juliet is pregnant now. You have my word.

News from Kristin

On the First Day of Lost-mas: Sawyer Is Kissing Who?! Maggie Grace Is Where?

Holy wow.

That's all I can say after hearing about what lies ahead for the sixth season of Lost, which, in case you haven't heard, will begin Feb. 2 on ABC, and is, like, the last spectacular hurrah of one of the best series ever to air on television.

Trust me. It is going to be good.

So what will go down?

Well, let's just say I know some things I'm not supposed to know...and wasn't supposed to say. But after receiving no fewer than 4,815,162,342 emails this past week requesting—no begging and singing (to the tune of various Christmas carols!) for Lost scoop—I have decided to pony up some dish I've heard from various sources, in the spirit of Christmas and giving and whatnot, and because I do not want to make little Cindy Lou Who cry.

So, here's the scoop:

I know the vast majority of you do not want to be fully spoiled (bless you, everyone) and come to this section because we tend to tease in ways that get you excited without ruining the viewing experience.

That said, how about we play a fun little scooptastic game called The 12 Days of Lost-mas? Starting today and for the next 11 days, I will give you two scoops regarding the sixth season of Lost: one "naughty" (false) and one "nice" (true).

It's your job to play detective and sort out which ones are true. (Who said homework over the holidays wasn't a boatload of fun?!)

So, for the next 11 days, while you are hiding out from your in-laws and/or your aunt's incredible (inedible) Jell-O salad, you can come to The 12 Days of Lostmas right here in Watch with Kristin and commune with other Lost fans to sort out which spoilers are naughty or nice.

Now, drumroll, please!

What's that? The 12 drummers drumming aren't here yet? Well, regardless, here is your first day of Lost-mas, where I warm you up gently, but steamily...

Which of the following is true?

• Maggie Grace's (Shannon) absence from the beginning of the new season will be explained by a significant change to Shannon and Boone's (Ian Somerhalder) backstory.

• Sawyer (Josh Holloway) will smooch someone who is either Kate (Evangeline Lilly) or Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell), and it will happen within the first four hours of the new season.

And oh, what the hey, here's a bonus for today's Lost-mas offering only. I will go ahead and tell you that:

Both of the above are actually true. Merry Lost-mas, everyone!

(Reminder: Maggie was the Lostie I referred to earlier in a blind item as a "holdout," who was busy shooting back-to-back movies when she was first offered a return to Lost. She may appear later in the season.)

As for how and who and when, you'll have to sort it out in the comments below...

Then check back tomorrow for the Second Day of Lost-mas.
