the spectacular kiss and sawyer's sacrifice

oula since march, darlton told about this scene, so i wanted to post it 'cause the scene was great and sad too (as many scene in the finale season)

i think too sawyer and kate are the new des and penny 'cause finally they're together now and int he same episode, sawyer and kate were separated for at least 3 years (maybe only for kate 'cause of the island moving stuff lol)
and no doubt they told about skate and not dope see the script

Lapidus tells them they'll have to get rid of every ounce of extra weight, so everyone starts throwing everything out of the chopper. When there's nothing else left, Lapidus says he wishes he had an extra hundred pounds less. Sawyer looks at the others and makes a decision. He leans over to Kate, whispers something in her ear, and then kisses Kate the kind of kiss that stops time. It's nothing short of spectacular. He breaks away and tells Kate to just do it. Then he jumps out of the chopper into the ocean below. He bops up to the surface and watches as the chopper disappears, then he starts swimming for the shore.

C.C.: And it's gonna be very good for people who are very involved with the Jack-Kate-Sawyer romantic triangle. You're going to see a lot more about that in this finale.
D.L.: So you're saying that kiss is gonna happen between two of those characters. Jack and Sawyer perhaps?
C.C.: I'm gonna say not Jack and Sawyer. I'm gonna say you can probably pick two other sides of the triangle.
D.L.: I'm gonna go one better than "there's one spectacular kiss": There are two spectacular kisses in the show...between four different people—not kissing each other. They happen at different times in the show.
C.C.: And they aren't the same characters kissing each other twice, so that will be good.
D.L.: Separate kisses.
