I asked on twitter 'cause my review can't be very interesting and also i've shipper heart even if i don't show it often on my blog since it's LOST blog and i love LOST not just a couple, LOST is an amazing show and for me the shipper part is the bonus of all of it. so don't take my opinion like offense to any other couple, it's just my view and i can be kinda "crazy" sometimes (blame the writers and the scenes they gave lol) and also i can joke a lot, i'm not serious especially with Jack and Locke relationship, blame Terry and his reply on the fuselage in s2 to my friend lol since this day well even before, we've this "fantasy" in our head.
After months LOST IS BACK !! WOW that’s all i could speak about for the last month, speaking of the countdown to people who don’t give a shit about LOST lool, watching the promo with new footage again and again, crying too, well i told you i’m weird then here we go ! LA X is here
I don’t know where to start first i wanted to say Darlton made an amazing job with the season premiere, they made me laugh, cry, it was the LOST i cherish since years and even if i know it will end in fews months, I just enjoyed those 2 hours with all my heart.
I wasn’t surprised about the two AU since I stopped to read spoilers 104 days ago now (except some exception but since LOST is back i stopped everything)
The first part was very great with the Flash Sideway, I think it’s the part I loved the most, Sawyer and co WASTED an hour to put juliet down the hole and even if i’m sensitive girl well, it was little too much for my taste. The part with Flockey (yeah it’s not Flocke anymore but for me Flockey), i was shocked, amazed and scared but god bless Terry and his acting !
Ok now let’s talk in details about this first hour
LA X part1
I’ll speak first about Flash Sideways and then the island stuff
I think the most important thing in this storyline was with Desmond and the fact he was on the plane, i’m not sure right now if they want us to believe Desmond knows more than we think or if it was a “coincidence” he was ont he plane but since the Island is under water, it clearly mean he never went to the island, but what about ben, juliet and all the others people who lived on the island ? I think it will be very interesting to see what happened in this life for them too.
Jack has memory of what happened or like a “deja vu” effect ? I think yes and no. Desmond don’t seem unknown to him but i think it’s really another life and the island is like what we can call “previous life” or maybe i’m wrong but for now i think it’s possible.
The most shocking moment and at the same exciting for me it was the island was under water, it has been my scenario since s2, the atlantide, this show was just amazing in many way 'cause it brought me good memory too, i'm not theory girl but in my mind i was all time, why if they can't find it's 'cause it's kinda like the atlantide. But why do i think too, the fact the island is under water could be related ‘cause juliet hit the bomb and it’s the consequence of her act but instead of dying, they created another life maybe ‘cause of Jacob but at the same i think it’s kinda weird to think it and another part of me think it could be simply what we saw now, it what it will happen at the very end, but does it mean the island really disappeared and our losties are in this new life ? I think it’s more complicated like that and it’s the reason LOST is the show of my heart.
charlie's line "shocked" me a bit 'cause a part of me when he said i was supposed to die, it was like the charlie of the island was telling a message to jack.
Now back to the book desmond was reading, my friend susan found what book is it
So i read the summary and for me the book represented the two universes we got
A work of magic realism, the story begins and takes place partly in "a sad city, the saddest of cities, a city so ruinously sad it had forgotten its name", which is located beside "a mournful sea full of glumfish, which were so miserable to eat that they made people belch with melancholy". This city is thickly populated by people, of whom only the lead character Haroun and his parents are ever happy, while in the north of the city are factories wherein sadness is allegedly manufactured and exported. The factories produce air pollution that is only relieved during the monsoon, which also heralds the arrival of pomfret into the nearby waters.
I think the sad city is the island, the city we forgot the name, it could be “ game words” with the fact now the sad city (the island) is under water and the name was forgotten no since the island will never be discover by our losties, what do you think ?
Also this line is interesting.
The Moon Kahani is, throughout most of the plot, divided into two sections equal in size, one of which is kept in perpetual daylight and the other in perpetual darkness.

There is the Flash Sideways and the what i’ll call first life
But it could be also related to the fact now there is devil (with Flockey) and the light and hope with our losties and jacob’s mission he gave to hurley ?
Now back to our losties i made it to show the different between the two universes BEFORE they crashed or landed

I’ll make some later i think it’s interesting to see the evolution of the characters in those two universes
Of course in this life, our losties met again, Kate “used” jack and got a pen, he didn’t notice it, before he needed PEN who he needed it, to save Rose’s life on the island, i know it was probably to make people got Kate stole it, but maybe it was also to remind Jack trying to save Rose’s life with Boone help except here, it was with Sayid.
When Charlie “terrific”, it remind me when they “saw” the monster the first night on the island and he said “terrific”. The question i wonder is why charlie hidden the drug ? why he didn’t put it on the toilet who he did in the pilot ? why charlie wanted to DIE ? why THIS Charlie wanted to die i should say.
Jin and Sun relationship made me sad, the island “saved” their couple but now, is there hope it can be saved ?
When Jin asked her to button her sweater, it remind me the first season and this “submission”, it’s pretty sad, why hurley can be lucky and jin and sun seems still miserable ?
Also we don’t know it but the island saved Rose’s life so is she still dying now or in this life, rose was saved in Australia?
Is Sawyer still the same man ? He didn’t seem a lot of broken man who just killed the wrong guy, of course we don’t know yet but a part of me think, something must changed too for him. And since when Sawyer is interested on man for con ? (Hurley) his fav con is on woman, why hurley interested him so much ?
Why Kate didn’t ask Edward for Ray and the money ? If we didn’t see it, I just think it’s ‘cause it didn’t happen.
The last scene on the plane remind me exodus and when they arrived on this plane who changed their life forever, for better or worst, the same will happen now i think they left this plane who could have ‘saved”some of them, destroyed others, a new life start for better or worst, only the new episodes will tell us...
Now on the island, what Can I say ?
Except the boring part to get juliet out the hole for one hour and she seemed dyign like i’m, i’m sorry but her body should be broken and she seemed on drug o_O
Well the only part who interested me a lot with Sawyer and co it was with Hurley and Jacob, why jacob went to see hurley ? We saw last seasons, jacob visited our losties, “helped” them with their destinies (Sawyer and his letter, Kate and the lunchbox, Hurley and the guitare case, bring Locke to life etc..). I think now Jacob (who didn’t fight back against Ben) knew it was supposed to happen and he chose our losties to protect and save the island but first, they’ve to go to the temple, this year, we’ll learn a lot about the island and the mysteries but i think Jacob’s death was necessary for them to learn a lot and why they’re on the island.
It was pretty interesting when Hurley said to Jack can you fix Sayid and Jack was no i can’t and Hurley was telling, so let’s me take care of it.
Now back to juliet, people assume she was already in the flash sideway, i’m still not sure, when people are dying they’re sometimes seeing part of their life, maybe Juliet saw her past, maybe she really saw the other universe but don’t change for me it was a waste of time, Sayid is dying and they spent one hour to put her out the hole and how the hell she could survive after they hit the bomb ? I think it was my only disappointment with Darlton for this first hour, but this is LOST too, so i guess i shouldn’t ask me why things were weird and just let it go.
To end I’ll speak of Flockey, Terry was amazing but it hurt a lot to see Locke is dead, I loved the fact we saw a confused Ben, Emerson was amazing too and it was a good change to see another side of Ben instead his devil acting. Bram protected himself with a circle he put around him with what ash ? It’s not what it was around jacob’s cabin before ?
So Flocke don’t seem the MIB or he’s and at the beginning MIB was Smokey, it’s kinda difficult to understand but why the monster who never killed Locke, and neither Juliet or Kate killed everyone at the temple, what happened ? and why Ben seemed to control the smokey in season4 and now smokey is free and made his own rules. Oh LOST you lost me once again and even more than ever !

LA X part2
Ok this episode was my favorite of the season premiere why ?
More actions, more mysteries and some emotional moments i didn’t see on the first one except as I told you when they landed.
I’ll continue with the FS at first.
So they landed and we’re all since the first minutes of the season premiere so what now ?
Well seems we’re going to explore their life but the question is what kind of life ?
Kate seems always a murderer like Edward said at the airport but Do you see a change on kate’s behaviour ? I did, she seems very different from the Kate we know for 6 years, the way she acted on this episode, kicked Edward, stole his gun and runs to finish her “chapter” with jumping on a taxi and take in hostage the taxi driver. Of course Kate was all this kind of woman on the island, but she really seem different and it’s very interesting to explore this FS.
Anyways why she didn’t get the case ?
Is there really Tom’s toyplane ? Is Kate lose him too on this FS ? Or even do they even know eachother ? Maybe we’ll not get the answer but if you remember “whatever my case may be” Kate fought against Sawyer, lied to Jack to get this damn case so why she left it behind her ?
What it didn’t surprise me happened at the elevator, Sawyer seemed different on the first part but also interested on Hurley’s money but here, he ended up on an elevator with a girl who wears handcuff and what Sawyer does ? Help her !
So we can assume Sawyer the conman is on this FS. I found very interesting the fact we got back our two outlaws as they were at the beginning of season1. I really liked this moment ‘cause it show no matter where universe you’re, you still have connection, they don’t know eachother and he helped her it remind me Sawyer and Kate line from Pilot part2
SAWYER: I know your type.
KATE: I'm not so sure.
SAWYER: Yeah. I've been with girls like you.
KATE: No girl's exactly like me.
Guess some little things never change. Does it mean maybe later this season they’ll see eachother again and he could help her again like Sawyer did many times on the island ? I guess nothing it’s impossible.
Speaking of nothing impossible, what about Jin and Sun ? Are they mean to be miserable in the FS like they were on the island at the beginning, are they still HOPE for them to be happy together ?
What i noticed and i’m not so sure because it have been long time since I watche season1 but the money jin has on his bag, is that money he got by Mister Paik ? I remember he wanted to run away on L.A. with Sun but Paik’s minion went at the airport to remind him what he’s supposed to do but does it mean Jin still planed to run away with Sun and tries to save his wedding ?
But wedding, is there one ?
Ms PAIK ? Is Sun married to Jin and the woman used this name ‘cause of the documentary where you can see Paik industry or Jin and Sun are just fiancé ?
Nothing change too for Jack, whatever he lands or crashs on the island, what happened ? CHRISTIAN’S COFFIN IS GONE !
For one moment when i first saw this scene my mind was, your dead father is still on the island Jack but then i remembered the island is under water so...WHERE IS HE?
Does it mean Christian’s coffin stayed on the island ‘cause of Jacob ? I mean Jacob is dead right but does it mean he could use his body and gives message to Jack and say Son it worked (like exactly Juliet did with Miles to Sawyer).
The FS ended on the most beautiful scene i could hope, Locke and Jack scene, the Man of faith and the Man of science. I really miss their dynamic since fews seasons, It’s true i always sided with John Locke but their “battle”, their confrontation like Father to Son, there is this dynamic which make LOST a great show. Do you remember “White Rabbit” and when Jack ran into the jungle to find his dead father, he ended up having a conversation with Locke.
LOCKE: I'm an ordinary man, Jack, meat and potatoes, I live in the real world. I'm not a big believer in magic. But this place is different. It's special. The others don't want to talk about it because it scares them. But we all know it. We all feel it. Is your white rabbit a hallucination? Probably. But what if everything that happened here, happened for a reason? What if this person that you're chasing is really here?
JACK: That's impossible.
LOCKE: Even if it is, let's say it's not.
JACK: Then what happens when I catch him?
LOCKE: I don't know. But I've looked into the eye of this island. And what I saw was beautiful.
Here Locke don’t believe in magic or anything else but he said to Jack
JACK: Coffin was supposed to go on the plane in Sydney, but it didn't. Apparently he's somewhere in transit which is their way of saying, they have no idea where the hell he is.
LOCKE: Well, how could they know.
JACK: They're the one's that checked him in, I mean they've gotta have some kind of tracking system.
LOCKE: No I'm not talking about the coffin, I mean how could they know where he is. They didn't lose your father, they just lost his body.
Jack is still searching his white rabbit and once again Locke shows to Jack, that’s not impossible they lose his body like on the island, that’s not impossible your dead father isn’t here. The man of faith spoke to the man of science and bring him some hope, some explanation without to know really anything, like on the island Locke can’t explain why Christian could be here just it’s not impossible too.
Don’t you find it interesting Locke find his knives the thing which make him an hunter on the island ? Does it mean the knives could have joined Christian’s body or simply STAYED where they were at the first time ? Well i guess i’ll start to have headache soon if i try to understand what is the FS, is there is bond with the other universe, Darlton, your job this year and i trust you :)
As i said early about Sawyer helping Kate again, does it mean Locke will be saved by Jack in the FS?
Nothing is irreversible
Is that the man of science who was speaking, the man who can fix and save people life or it was a message to tell us, Locke is dead on the island BUT Jack will save “him” or at least the place who was John Locke’s home at the end ? Or does it mean Jack will give the power the island gave to Locke and he couldn’t be paralyzed again ? Is that will be the island savior of John Locke in both universes ?
I think we need to wait to get the answer but this simple words made me think now Jack will.
Back to the island.
A lot happened at the same we’ve no clue yet lol this is LOST guys, it’s why we love this show right ?
Now Hurley is the “leader”, Sawyer isn’t anymore, Jack don’t give order, Jack changed since season5, Locke changed him (Do I say already how much I love Jocke ? Ok ok, i’ll stop here)
It was great to see the temple, i mean the REAL ONE, we heard since s3, Richard went there with Ben Potter and still we didn’t know the place and here we saw it, it’s like utopian place, seems like people as Miles could say will sing Kum Ba Yah uh ?
Speaking of Miles, on 2 past seasons we learn a lot about him and once again ‘cause of his gift we can know what Juliet wanted to tell to Sawyer, It wasn’t anything related to them, and for once since the beginning of the new season Juliet was useful, she said “it worked”
Of course Losties can’t understand it, we did but at the same we don’t know really what it mean (Ah Darlton !)
Now back to the temple, Losties were captured and well, knowing japanese since i’m addict to manga for years i can say Lennon don’t translate everything Dogen said, at first when they arrived he said something like they shouldn’t be here, what does it mean ? here ? here on this universe ? here at the temple ? Maybe my japanese translation not correct too, so i’m sorry.
Well anyways don’t change the fact Dogen is ready for them to die until Hurley said Jacob sent us and we finally know what was inside the guitare case since Jacob gave it to Hurley before he left to take plane on Ajira airline, the Ankh. But it’s not simple a Ankh, inside there is message from Jacob, does it know he was supposed to die and he waited Flockey and Ben afterall as Ben said why he didn’t fight back ?
Did he know Sayid could be injured ? Or Lennon just read about any of them can’t die don’t let it happen, will we ever know the message on this paper ?
Seem they can save Sayid but oh surprise the water isn’t clear, what happened ? Is it because Jacob is dead now ? At least we know how Mini Ben was saved but at the same he lose his innocence, what it can mean for Sayid ? He’s torturer, murderer and even tried to kill a kid, what it will happen to him ?
No matter what is it, Jack agrees they take risk, Jin and Kate seem surprised but they don’t say a word.
Sayid dies, we got a similar scene from season1 when Jack tried to save Charlie’s life except he couldn’t let it go, this time, Jack listened to Kate, I was surprised but i guess the Jack we knew for years changed a lot now (thanks to Locke !)
At the temple we saw Cindy joined the Kumbayahers (yes i’ll call them like that for now lol) and Zach and Emma are here too, you can see Kate’s look when she sees the kid, it has been just probably a week since she left Aaron, her mother’s heart still hurt i guess.
Sawyer and Miles are captured too, even thought Sawyer didn’t want to come with them and fought back.
Sayid is dead, Miles can’t hear him, Hurley said Sayid can visit him, this short moment with Hurley made me so sad, we don’t know how much losties went to see him when he was off the island but we knot it affected him a lot just now Hurley is in peace, back on the island but still seeing dead people (Jacob).
As i said early there is a lot of similar moment from past seasons on this episode and once again there is one but this time with Sawyer and Kate, the scene was mirror to the one where Kate nursed Sawyer in season2 after he was injuried("collision, what kate did"). As one of my friend said this scene remind too when there is a soldier wounded at war and a nurse cares of him, i’m sure i could find good example of movie but for now i’ve no one. I adored this moment because well as i said i’m shipper too but not only uh ok ? So I really enjoyed this moment, Sawyer and Kate didn’t share a lot of scenes together and now Sawyer is broken man, it was very nice to see Kate caring of him even thought he was unconcious, i guess it was probably the only way to be around him since he clearly didn’t want her help to bury juliet, does it mean Sawyer blames Kate for Juliet’s death ? No i don’t think, but maybe he blames himself because before she dies they broke up because of Kate, maybe Sawyer still want to be in denial and refuses to see the truth, and well i can’t blame him right now, he lose Juliet. Even if Sawyer said he’ll kill Jack, he confessed to Kate he don’t want to kill Jack, well to be honest, i don’t think he ever wanted to kill him, it’s Sawyer, if he’ll make people suffer, the first one will be himself not everyone else.
Once again since season premiere the “leader” Hurley needs to speak to Dogen, he wants to know when Jacob will arrive and here SHOCK they learnt Jacob is dead, the Kumbayahers act like crazy and use the ash around the temple, same way bram saved his life (a short time) against Flockey and they sent warning, that Richard saw so here we’re sure, they’re all back in 2007 (ok the fact we saw Cindy and the kids could tell it to us but with LOST you can’t be so sure lol).
Speaking of Flockey, still inside the temple, Ben still shocked and ask what he wants, Flockey explain to Ben how Locke felt when he killed him, this word killed me ‘cause I hate this Flockey thing and seeing this man almost “mocking” Locke it was crual. But he said Locke never wanted to leave the island, it’s true, it was his home but Locke have to bring them back, he did it and it cost his life :( John Locke no matter this thing looks like him is dead and did what he has to do, he saved them, he saved the island too even thought now the island isn’t safe...
Terry O’quinn is amazing actor, I fall for Locke since years and it hurt to see Flockey but when he said “I want to go home” i was impressed by his acting, i’m sure i’ll be again thought...
But what home ? I guess we can suppose the temple but why ? because of the magical water maybe if Flockey goes inside he’ll be free completely ? But then what ?
Even thought Flockey seem the bad guy for now, i don’t think he’s completely evil, it’s something we learn with Locke, Ben seemed horrible and still he don’t like the bad guy, Widmore seemed the bad guy too and still it seem he’s not all that bad so Flockey is really the Bad guy of LOST and Jacob the good guy ? I don’t think so, i think Jacob isn’t white or black, i think he’s grey, he saved Locke’s life off the island but he put him paralyzed, he saved Sayid’s life but let’s Nadya died, he gave pen to little James and he becomes Sawyer and there is a lot of things i’m sure once again we don’t know. And Smokey, did he kill Locke first time they met ? No, did he kill Eko too ? Not before he said he has nothing to forgive, Juliet and Kate were scanned by smokey, did he kill hers ? No
I think Smokey is like a judge, he knows our losties aren’t black or white, neither he’s, that’s why Flockey is really the bad guy ? my answer is NO
So Flockey asked to see Richard since first part, finally Richard don’t come to him so he goes to him but what he said ? “It's good to see you outta those chains »
Chains right ? chains like the one we saw on the Black Rock where Locke put Cooper and where Sawyer killed him ? Maybe Richard arrived on this boat Jacob and MIB saw, maybe Jacob saw in Richard his messenger, since Nestor is regular and it’s last season, I really can’t wait to learn about Richard’s storyline.
So now what is next, Flockey took Richard, ready to go home (the temple or not maybe...)
And LOST ended the most freaking way, Darlton joked for years about Zombie season and what happened ? Sayid is ALIVE !!! Is he ? or is he someone else too ?
Is Jacob bring him to life ?
Maybe we’ll get the answer at the next episode don’t you think ? ;)
