Ian interview concerning his return on LOST

Ian did an interview for Eonline about Damon (vampire diaries) but also spoke a bit about the return of booboone, his wish for his character !

********

Do you mind if we talk about Lost a little bit?
Not at all. I'm literally in Hawaii now. I just landed.

How much are you going to shoot?
I don't know that much. That's the funny thing. I'm going to do several episodes, and [laughs] that's basically all I know.

What do you want the fans to see of Boone that they didn't get to see the past few seasons?
I think that due to Boone's untimely death, I don't think anyone really got to see that there was strength in him, that there was goodness in him that went beyond his obsession with taking care of Shannon. I think that he had a life for himself. There were good things that Boone had to give the world, and I don't think he really get a chance to explore those things. Maybe, just maybe—I'm not sure—maybe we'll get to see a more-relaxed Boone. Maybe we'll get to see a Boone who's just happy. But who knows? I don't know. I really don't know.

Do you think we might see Boone and Shannon together again?
Yeah, that would be great.

Have you seen Maggie Grace at all?
Oh yeah. Absolutely. Maggie and I live very near to each other in California, and we're very, very close friends.

24 hours for you to spot Ian on Hawaii !

Yeah Booboone returns on LOST (it's not a surprise here lol) but Ian shared an interview with EW where he said he was leaving to get a plane for Hawaii to be on the set tomorrow ! It's time for Ian's fan to run at the airport and get a ticket for hawaii ^^

Ian Somerhalder phoned EW this morning to chat about his role as Damon on The CW hit The Vampire Diaries (look for his answers to reader questions on Thursday), but thanks to his apology for calling 25 minutes late due to the security at an airport in Atlanta, where the show films, being very, very thorough, we found out that he’s about to shoot Boone’s final-season return to ABC’s Lost. “I’m literally getting on a plane in 45 minutes to fly to Hawaii,” he said. “The only thing I can say is that I’m going back for several episodes….I have a script that weighs like 200 pounds, but I don’t really know what’s happening.”

Asked if he was psyched to return to Hawaii, he added, “I am, but you know what? I always have this romantic notion. Usually, when I would go back, I would have a week there, a great room at the Kahala, a convertible, a per diem, and what have you. And now, I wrapped [an episode of The Vampire Diaries] last night, I’ll fly there, I’ll work tomorrow, and then I’ll fly straight back and then come straight back to work on The Vampire Diaries. So it’s a 10-hour flight each way, and I’ll be on the ground for 24 hours….But I wouldn’t complain if you paid me.”

Sagal, Somerhalder Found By Lost

Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal hasn't been seen on Lost since 2006, although last season it seemed her character had passed away when John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) was seen paying a visit to the grave of his supposed late girlfriend, Helen Norwood. Well, Katey has just won herself a return trip to Hawaii to reprise the role -- an opportunity Katey told me in July she was hoping for. Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse exclusively confirmed the news to me at the Sept. 13 Malibu Triathlon fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Cuse, who biked in the event that raised over $1 million, spied another former cast member, Julie Bowen, among the other competitors and told me he'd also like to find a way to bring her back as Jack's ex-wife, Sarah, in the upcoming final season. This came as exciting news to Julie. "Do it, Carlton!," screamed the actress. "What's stopping you?"

Now a series regular on the new ABC sitcom Modern Family, Bowen has already plotted out a return scenario in her head. "The last time you saw Sarah, she was pregnant with another man's child," she says. "But I would pitch that it was actually Jack's baby and Jack's found out and it's somehow important to whatever is happening on the island."

(By the way, I heard that what's happening in season six is even more whacked-out than last season's time jumping plot.)

Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder has already shot his return scene as Boone. Yay! The only former cast member Carlton wouldn't discuss? Harold Parrineau. "I cannot yet confirm or deny whether he will be back on the show this year."

Aw c'mon, Carlton. We know he will.

How do you feel about this latest round of returns? And who else do
you hope to see before the series signs off in May 2010?

Ian Somerhalder's interview concerning LOST

i'll skip the part concerning his new show (i can't wait to watch it !!) Vampire diaries to put what he said about his possible return on LOST !

Q: Are you going to be returning to Lost?
Ian: That's the idea.

Q: Are you going to go back to the plane, before it crashed?
Ian: I don't know any of that stuff, but that's the idea. We're working it out and making it happen.

Q: Do you have any idea what the storyline would be?
Ian: I have no clue. And, I probably won't know until the day I get there. That is the one thing that I am really curious about. Over the years, those guys have gotten so smart to not tell actors anything because we talk to you guys.

Q: Were you surprised when you got the call about returning to the show?
Ian: We had spoken about it for awhile, and then I hung out with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse at Comic-Con and we came to the conclusion that this will happen. So, we're just working out the details. The problem is just the dates. Honolulu is really far from Atlanta, and I'm on the schedule every day with The Vampire Diaries. Usually, when I would go back to do an episode of Lost, it was a seven-day vacation with a great hotel suite on the beach, lots of per diem, a convertible to drive around in and massages. This is going to be a red eye from Atlanta to Hawaii, getting off the plane, shooting, crashing and then going back.

Q: Are you excited to revisit Boone?
Ian: One last time, yeah. It will be fun. I just can't wait.

Q: Is it nice to know that you'll be able to play a part in closing out this show that you helped get started?
Ian: Yeah. Hopefully, it will be different and Boone can get his power back. There was always some element of solidarity in him. It was just never able to be played out. But, I could be completely wrong. He could just be the same push-over he was.

Q: Have you kept up with the show at all, as the seasons have progressed?
Ian: I haven't been able to, as much as I'd like to. But, I'm going to do some major catching up, before I go down there.
